SICM promotes consumer driven services based upon the person’s strengths and needs and will assist individuals in the process of increasing independence in settings that are least restrictive, age appropriate, and integrated into the community. Case Managers will inform individuals of their rights and responsibilities as citizens, investigate an array of funding options and encourage the use of natural supports in the individual’s community.
