Free & Reduced Lunch Program

Income eligible children can have school lunch costs paid through the USDA. Please contact your child’s school in your area to get more information on income guidelines and requirements for this program.


WIC Program (Women, Infants & Children)—Mid-Iowa Community Action, Inc. (MICA)

WIC gives vouchers for formula, milk and nutritious food supplies, and medical referrals for income-eligible pregnant women, nursing mothers, and children to five years of age. Clinics are run out the MICA office in Marshalltown.
